Case in point. The tags on our car were set to expire in May. As a major procrastinator ( even worse than usual, lately), I hadn't gotten the tags renewed. In case you forgot, yesterday was the last day of May. In the past I have done the online renewal ( no standing/waiting in line.... YES!), so I go get the car inspected, gather up the necessary documents ( insurance, tax receipts), and the site doesn't recognize my tax receipt info. CRAP! So, I have to go to the dmv, ON THE LAST DAY OF THE MONTH - AAAGGGGHHHH! I get there and pull the little number thingy - 18. Thinking this isn't too bad. They call the next number - "Three". GREAT! Actually, it didn't take as long as I thought it would. I was out of there in a hour. BUT, that is an hour that I needed to get everything ready to go today.....
So, my day was full of those kinds of moments. A definite PLAN B day! I was meeting myself coming and going, so crazy!
The other day I tweeted that my Dyson vacuum had lost suction. We've had it for probably about 5 years ( not really sure....) and I figured it was just done... I got a tweet back from them and they asked me to email the customer support department and told me it was probably an easy fix. We set up a time to talk on the phone. They can listen to it and figure out what is wrong and tell you how to fix it. I was a bit leery, but figured why not give it a try. So Tiffany called me yesterday and after about 20 minutes, MY DYSON WAS FIXED! She had me take a few things off and was so helpful and very patient with me ;)
I guess it is a little scary.... probably doesn't help that we have always called it the monster.... We're trying to come up with a better name. Any suggestions?
Eating has been good, I've stuck with the plan and getting results. Only 3 more days to go! I'll be done on Sunday. It is going to be a challenge since I will be traveling, but I will stick with it to the end.
I have to say, I have enjoyed almost all the meals. There have only been 2 that I didn't care for. They weren't horrible, just not ones I will be repeating! The roasted fennel from last night is one of them. I had not had fennel before and I am not a fan of licorice and it had that taste to it. I ate it, but won't be making it again!
My eats the last couple of days
I had shakeology for breakfast both days. Seems to keep me feeling fuller.
Had to eat out on Wed night. I did good!
jicama/avocado salad (YUM!!!) and baked sweet potato ( I shared my salad with Brian and had only made one serving, so we both added the sweet potato!)
Roasted fennel, asparagus, broccoli and brown rice
3 more days of the meal plan and the supplements. I will be doing my favorite recipes from the meal plan for the next week before I start adding foods back in. I will also be continuing with my GREEN drink every day! Next post will be from the road!
